You can install the Remedy 7.1 client on all versions (32 & 64 bit) of the Windows operating system. For Windows 7, you will need to install in compatibility mode (please see guide below).

The BMC Remedy User tool is available for download here (~110Mb). This is version 7.1 of the BMC Remedy User client tool.

It is suggested to save this file to your computer, run the installation, and then delete the installation file to save space on your computer. The installation file will always be available for download from the NMS server.


Please note, when installing Remedy, you can uncheck the Crystal Reports option.

 

Windows 7 Installation Guide

For Windows 7, you will need to install BMC Remedy Client tool in compatibility mode otherwise you will get performance issues. Please follow the screenshots below.

Right click on the User.exe installation file, which will bring up the context menu. Select "Troubleshoot compatibilty".

Try the recommended settings.
