                the word <code>{newtype}</code> would be sent with the message verbatim. The intention was that the user would see the error in  
                the formatting and be able to correct it. In the new version, this can be toggled, because some fields may not

            <li>The system now checks whether the user has been notified of an alarm via email or SMS separately.  
                Suppose an alarm comes in which satisfies two separate filters to which the user has subscriptions,  
                and suppose that one of the subscriptions are for SMS and the other for email. In previous versions  
                the Notifications system will note that the user has already been notified of the alarm once the  
                SMS has been sent, so the email of the second subscription would not be sent. In the new version,  
                the system notes that the user has only been notified <em>via SMS</em>, but <em>not via email</em>, so the email of 
                the second subscription will be sent.</li>

        <li>The NMS Home page has a new look and the categories and menu items can be managed from within the ACC Administration menu by an ACC Administrator</li>
